New work in development - The Bearing Figure Series conceptually takes reference from construction and engineering. The "bearing shells" are cast in glass and stand upon large wood beams salvaged from factories and sheds that once played a significant roll in the history of Western Australia's timber & engineering industry. These works will increase in scale and eventually take on an abstract figurative reference to a standing human form.
